Are you ready to manage your shipments and send your Christmas presents to your friends and family? Thanks to Packlink, you'll be able to send your gifts anywhere in the world. In this article you will find some useful tips to avoid any delays related to the pickup or the delivery of your parcel.
Don't wait until the last moment
It is very important that you plan your Christmas' shipments in advance, to avoid any issues related with both pickup and delivery, and make sure your gifts arrive at destination on the day you want.
Pick the correct package
Pack your shipment carefully, using wrapping paper only for internal boxes. If you apply wrapping paper to the external package, this may fall off along with the shipment label, and your parcel wouldn't be delivered.
Pickup and delivery
Starting from Tuesday 21st December 2021, carriers can no longer guarantee the pickup of your parcel for the day you selected when you finalised your order. In addition to that, please keep in mind that both pickups and deliveries may suffer delays during Christmas holidays, because of the high volume of requests.
Carriers will be operating with a reduced workforce from mid-December, until 10th January 2022. As a result, there will be less drivers to manage your shipments, and this may affect the pickup or the delivery, regardless of Packlink's actions.
