You are responsible for checking that your item can be sent with us, please check this list before shipping your parcel. All products included in this list are excluded from any financial compensation.
Prohibited items
These are products that cannot be shipped via PayPal Shipping platform services due to carrier limitations, security reasons and because they require a specific type of handling:
| Alcohol and derivatives: any liquid containing alcohol, regardless of its alcoholic concentration. |
| Animals: alive, dead, stuffed and any of their parts. |
| Antiques: technological products manufactured with 20 years of antiquity. Other articles manufactured with 50 years of antiquity. |
| Art: any work and type of art, painting or sculpture that cannot be reproduced by the artist, whose author has died, or that has an economic value of more than £700. |
| Biological samples: organs, tissues, cells, bacteria, viruses, DNA, RNA, clinical waste, body fluids such as: blood, urine, faeces, saliva, sweat, etc. |
| Dangerous goods ADR/LQ: perfumes, lighter, paint, chemical products, gunpowder, gas (aerosol/spray), fire extinguishers, magnets, batteries, radioactive materials, flammable, oxidizing, corrosive or adhesive substances, agricultural products, etc. More info. |
| Funerary items: human remains, ashes, etc. |
| International restrictions: any goods prohibited at origin or destination. |
| Jewellery: jewels, watches, gems, precious metals, real pearls, silver, gold, etc. |
| Liquids, aerosols and gels (LAGs): liquids, semi-solid products, mixtures of liquids and solids, articles with a creamy, pasty or oily consistency, or any substance kept in a container under pressure (applies only to shipments with UPS). |
| Medicines: any kind of medicine, regardless of its prescription. |
| Money: including, but not limited to, cheques, coins, banknotes, collector's money, credit/debit cards, smart cards (e.g. gift card, sim card, etc.). |
| Narcotics: narcotic and/or psychotropic substances, as well as any derived products. |
| Perishable goods: goods that require any kind of particular and/or a specific temperature, humidity, luminosity or manipulation. |
| Plants: plants of all species, live or dried, flowers, terrariums, etc. |
| Stamps: any stamp or stamped document issued by a government or related official agencies. Tobacco, alcohol, state lotteries, etc. |
| Tobacco: all types of tobacco, e-cigarette included. |
| Vehicles and engine parts: power generators or generator sets, motor vehicles of any kind, as well as their engines and their mechanical parts. More info. |
| Weapons and ammunition: any type of weapon, ammunition, including knives and replicas (toys). |
No compensation items
Non compensation items are goods, that although not explicitly forbidden, are not covered by any type of coverage:
| Collectibles and high-value collector's items: those whose primary value is sentimental or based on rarity/collectability, including but not limited to trading cards (e.g. Pokémon, sports cards, TCGs) and collectors' items (autographed memorabilia, limited-edition comics, and collectible figures). |
| Commercial samples: small quantities of a specific product for promotional purposes. |
| Containers: unpacked suitcases, bags and luggage. Outer packaging of item (e.g. plastic packaging, cardboard boxes, packaging of collector's items/toys, etc.). |
| Documents with economic value: lottery tickets, medical prescriptions, any kind of tickets or bearer document. |
| Glass: objects made of sheets of glass (e.g. windows, aquariums, urns, mirrors, vases, glass frames, pictures and/or portraits, windshield, ceramic and induction hobs, etc.). |
| Insufficient packaging: any items placed in a package without following our Packaging Guide. |
| Keys: all types. Conventional, electronic, magnetic, master, coded, smart, proximity (RFID or Bluetooth), card, central locking, security, etc. |
| Luxuries: embroidery or fabrics with precious metals, doilies, peltry. |
| Marble and laminated materials: cement, granite, terracotta, plaster, stone, crystal, marble, silestone, etc. |
| Original documents: passport, ID card, driving licence, deeds, certificates, academic degree, etc. |
| Returned goods (RMA/RGA): damaged goods and machinery, or returned to its seller due to being damaged. |
