  • For Home to Home services is optional. Royal Mail will bring the shipping label to your door. However, the format is set and the option to print is available. 

  • For Drop-Off to Home services is mandatory. Print it and don’t cover the barcode part with sellotape to ensure the label can be scanned correctly.

Delivery and collection times

  • The service does not include any telephone notification before collection or delivery. It is at the discretion of the driver.
  • Delivery times: throughout the day.
  • Drop-off: you can bring the goods to a local Post Office or Royal Mail Customer Service Points during their office hours on the date that best suits you. Find the nearest location. 
    • Even if your Local Post Office or Royal Mail Customer Service Points are open on Saturdays, please note that the goods will not begin transit until Monday.
  • Collection:
    • During the price enquiry, you’ll see the first available collection date, but this doesn’t mean that you can’t choose a later date.
    • The collection service is available from Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 18:00, excluding bank holidays. Remember that, although it may not be a holiday in your local town/city if the branch in charge of the collection is not operating because of a holiday in the local city/county, the collection will not be able to take place.
    • Leave a note or post-it on the telephone or intercom if the addressee's surname is not visible, does not match, or if the doorbell does not work.
  • Home delivery: in the event of a failure or impossibility of delivery, the parcel can be delivered to an agreed point or a neighbour's home.

Tracking

  • The tracking of your shipment will be available on our platform from the day after the collection/drop off of the parcel at the ParcelShop, provided the parcel label has been correctly attached.

  • Fully tracked to delivery point. If you want to track your shipment through the Royal Mail website, click here and enter the tracking number found on the shipping label (For example: EF000000000GB).

On certain occasions, due to logistical, operational and climatological reasons, as well as others unrelated to Packlink PayPal, it isn’t possible to collect or deliver on the estimated day.

Conditions

  • If no one is home, the transportation company will try to leave an attempted delivery note at the recipient’s address whenever possible. Alternatively, the shipment may be dropped off at a specific location.
  • The return to the place of origin isn’t included in any of the services, whatever the reason for the return may be (absence, incorrect address, rejection, etc.).
  • The times are estimated except for the services with guaranteed delivery, so the user will not have the right to a shipment refund in case of a delay arising from the transport.

Proof of delivery

  • The digital proof of delivery (POD) is only available with the Royal Mail International Tracked & Signed service.
  • Upon delivery, a signature is taken. Nevertheless, it's not available through the online web tracking. The person who bought the shipment should reach out Royal Mail customer service team to request the delivery signature.
  • Provided that it’s not a certified delivery, a third party, who is not necessarily the recipient of the shipment, may receive it.

Coverage

Standard protection

  • All Royal Mail Domestic services include a maximum compensation cover up to £150.
  • All Royal Mail International services include a maximum compensation cover up to £50.

Important

In the event of damage, loss or missing content, the person who bought the shipment should contact Royal Mail customer service team to submit a claim.
